So what is the DisipleMakers Experience Internship all about?
DISCIPLESHIP
As you are poured into regularly by DiscipleMakers Staff, you will likewise pour into fellow interns in a gospel-saturated community and also into incoming Penn State freshmen, “ministering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10)
EVANGELISM
1 Peter 2:9 calls you “a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." As you are immersed in the grace of God, we will equip you to shine His light on campus and in all of life.
Bible Study
1 Peter 1:12 tells us that “Even angels long to look into these things.” What things? Seeing Jesus in ALL of the Scriptures! You’ll spend many hours each week diving deeply into God’s Word and teaching others to do the same.
One internship, multiple options
All DiscipleMakers interns will grow in their discipleship, evangelism, and Bible study skills, and will do so while living in close community with staff and fellow interns who will constantly pour into one another. However , there are several options for how you’ll spend the rest of your time:
Campus interns will focus on connecting with Penn State students through doing outreach and studying the Scriptures with those you meet. Learn more.
International campus interns serve alongside the campus interns, but particularly focus on reaching international students. Learn more.
Headquarters interns will spend most of their time practically utilizing their God-given skills to further the mission of DiscipleMakers behind the scenes. This could include serving in finance, HR, marketing, information technology, graphic design, writing, organizing, and so on. Learn more.
