Life as an International Campus Intern

Each summer, hundreds of international students from across the globe come to Penn State to study. Most of them have heard little to nothing about Jesus.

The International Campus Internship is for those that have a passion to initiate relationships with foreign students so that they might come to know the love of Jesus.

You will closely follow what our Campus Interns do, but will focus your time on welcoming internationals students, including helping them getting acclimated to both college and to life in the United States. This may include taking students shopping, helping them set up bank accounts, or getting new phone plans. You’ll devote more of your time building relationships than what the other campus interns may do with American students.

Some years, the international interns will even end the internship by traveling to visit an international student in their home country!
