Chris Ebersole has reached his support goal!

We're happy to report that Chris Ebersole has reached his support goal for his ministry with DiscipleMakers! In just a few short months he will be serving on campus for the fall semester on our Susquehanna Valley team.

Chris told us, “Five years ago I was a freshman in college that didn’t know the Lord, and God used DiscipleMakers’ staff to show me what it truly means to follow Him. I can’t wait to be on the other side now, reaching out to freshman students and others this fall who need to be reached with the good news about Jesus in the same way.”

Throughout his support raising, Chris struggled with the loneliness of the task after being deeply involved in his college campus community. At the same time he also experience great joy in the opportunity to meet so many new people from different walks of life who were excited to aid in the work to make disciples of college students. “My view of God’s kingdom is so much bigger now, as I’ve seen people who have never heard of me or DiscipleMakers jump on board with our vision to make disciples,” Chris said.

Please praise the Lord with us, for His provision for Chris's ministry with DiscipleMakers, and pray that the Lord would aid him as he moves to a new home and begins his ministry on campus.

Mark Campbell will serve on the Northeast PA campus team!

We're happy to report that Mark Campbell will serve on the Northeast PA (NEPA) campus team when he reaches his ministry funding goal!

“I'm eager to see what the Lord has for me on the NEPA team!” said Mark. “I'm sure that even now, He is preparing students to hear the gospel for the very first time.”

Carolyn Kirsch will serve on the Lehigh Valley Campus Team!

Tim Carroll has joined our staff team!

Tim Carroll has joined DiscipleMakers! He has been serving as a student leader in our ministry at Lafayette College for the past few years. He also served as a summer intern with DM in 2018.

“I am so excited to begin serving with DiscipleMakers,” Tim said. “Through my time at Lafayette College, God really used DM to bring me closer to Him, and I can't be happier to have the opportunity to serve Him and point others to how awesome He is!”

Praise God for raising up Tim to serve on our staff team, and pray for him as he finishes up his time at Lafayette in May, 2019. Also pray for him as he begins the journey of raising support full–time for his ministry with DM this summer.

Welcome Maggie Walburn to our staff team!

Maggie Walburn has joined DiscipleMakers! Maggie has served as a student leader in the DiscipleMakers Christian Fellowship at Cedar Crest College. She also served as a summer intern with DM in 2018.

“It is such an honor to have this opportunity to serve the Lord through DiscipleMakers!” Maggie said.

Praise God for raising up Maggie to serve on our staff team! She expects to graduate from Cedar Crest in May, after which she will embark upon raising support for her ministry with DM.

Alex & Janáe Siford Have Reached Their Fundraising Goal!

Alex & Janáe Siford have reached their ministry funding goal! God has provided the full amount needed for their ministry with DiscipleMakers. The Sifords had this to say about completing their fundraising season. “God continues to multiply His kingdom and we are thrilled to be key role players! 1 Samuel 12:24 says, ‘consider the great things the Lord has done for us.’ As we consider our season of fundraising and those He brought on our support team, we see this as clear evidence of God's faithfulness to us and this great mission. God has called us into ministry with DiscipleMakers and we couldn't be more excited to see the multitudes proclaim ‘Jesus Christ is Lord!'"

Now that they have reached this milestone, the Sifords will transition to their next ministry assignment in the DiscipleMakers Headquarters. There, Alex will serve in the HR department, and Janáe in the Finance department. Please join us in praising the Lord for Alex & Janáe, and pray that He will continue raising up laborers for the harvest field!

Nick Smartt to join the Penn State Team!

We're happy to report that Nick Smartt will serve on our Penn State Team when he reaches his ministry funding goal.

“I'm very excited to get to reach college students from all over the world at the same campus that I attended and know so well," said Nick. “I'm looking forward to building stronger relationships with the men that I've gotten to know the past few years!"

Recently, Nick passed the 80% mark on his way toward his ministry support goal. Please pray for Nick as he continues to work hard toward full support so he can begin his new ministry assignment!

TJ Renninger to join the Systems Department!

We're happy to report that TJ Renninger will serve in the Systems Department at our Headquarters when he reaches his ministry funding goal.

“I am excited to serve with DiscipleMakers in the Systems Department. All of my life I enjoyed seeing people benefiting from work that I have done behind the scenes," said TJ. “Being able to do this in a ministry setting to reach college students is an amazing opportunity provided from the Lord!"

Recently, TJ passed the 55% mark on his way toward his ministry support goal. Please pray for TJ as he continues to work hard toward full support so he can begin his new ministry assignment!

Shannon Campbell Has Reached Her Fundraising Goal!

God has provided the full amount needed for her ministry with DiscipleMakers. “God has been incredibly faithful throughout this season of raising prayer and financial support,” Shannon said. “I'm thankful for His provision and for everything He has taught me. I'm very excited to be a full-time laborer at Penn State and be a part of all the Lord is doing on campus.”
