I grew up in a Christian home but didn’t truly believe in Christ, I was more afraid of hell. My identity was built on pride, academics, and athletics. But as my senior year ended, COVID-19 took away lacrosse, and I lost a core part of myself. Then, struggling as a college freshman my academic identity shattered. I fell into deep depression, feeling lost and alone. The only comfort came from sermons and Scripture. Over time, I leaned on God, finding strength in the Gospel. Through discipleship, I grew into a man rooted in Christ, no longer defined by worldly success.
