Ever since Christ began to work His sovereign, gracious power and His unfailing love in our lives, we have been gripped by a passion to glorify God.

For me (Joel) joining staff with DiscipleMakers flowed from seeing God amazingly grow His Kingdom during my years at Bucknell University. After attending Harvard University and seeking to bring the gospel to the scientific community and finding little success, I realized the best way to impact the scientific community and ultimately the world was through what had worked so well at Bucknell—making disciples through the Word and one-on-one mentoring.

For Jen, it was similar. Her desire to impact future generations led her to pursue an Education & History degree at Gettysburg College. Her passion to help students develop a love for learning now compels her to help students develop a love for learning about Our Savior!

Our heart is to see college students captivated by God's grace and love. As these transformed students become the key influencers for Christ, the world will praise Christ for His salvation. This is our heart's passion and joy and why we are eager to be a part of DiscipleMakers' mission in "Reaching the campus...Reaching the World."
