Even though I grew up going to church, when I first came to Penn State University in the summer of my freshman year, I wanted to live life for myself. I avoided even going to any Christian Ministry event until the following fall when I was invited to a DiscipleMakers meeting. It was from that point that I realized, the Christians there had faith and community in a way I had not seen before. Eventually, I found that same faith and community and became a real Christian myself! Praise God! By His grace, ever since I have been learning, growing, and living for Christ. This lead me to want to impact the world for Him through ministry and has culminated in joining the ministry that impacted me so deeply during my four years at college.
