When I came to Penn State as a freshman, my life was characterized by pride and an unloving view of the people around me. However, the Lord used DiscipleMakers to flip my view of myself and the people around me upside down, reminding me that the love and acceptance I craved was already found within the cross of Jesus Christ. Because I am secure in Christ’s love, I can joyfully choose to humbly love others in the same way Christ has done for me, instead of elevating myself. I’m excited to share this same truth of Christ’s love with college students!
