At times, life feels like one thing after another on repeat. We need help to understand how to handle the questions and concerns life throws at us — we need wisdom. At the 2024 Women’s Conference, Wise Womanhood, we will look together at the book of Proverbs to understand how we can be women of wisdom able to make good decisions and face life’s challenges. Join us April 5-7th as we see the Bible’s answer to our need for wisdom. Life’s a lot, let’s get wisdom from God.

Workshops

Saturday Morning Workshops

  • How to Avoid a Life of Regret: Valuing What God Values in a Women’s Life
    Karlyn Geiger & Becky Miller

All day many voices cry out, telling us who to be and how to be successful. But how can we know what really matters as we plan our lives and careers? And some day, when we look back at what we have accomplished, how will we know it was worth it? Come “rewrite your resume” with us!

  • Motherhood: A Beautiful Gift and A Godly Calling
    Megan Royes & Kaylah Olshefsky

Motherhood. For some, it’s a dream job; for others, a nightmare. Whether you’re excited, disinterested, or just plain confused, join us as we uncover four misunderstandings about what it means to be a mom, and discover the beautiful vision for motherhood that the Bible holds out to us.

  • Gender Roles: One Woman’s Journey to Embracing Biblical Womanhood
    Shannon Fodale

Submission? Helper? Be quiet? Are you KIDDING me!? The Bible says a lot about our identity as women which initially made me bristle. But then I learned something that totally changed my perspective. I’d love to share it with you.

  • Wisdom When Your Parents and Your Faith Collide
    Bonnie Dripps

We will examine God’s command to honor your parents, defining what that means and describing what is Does and Does Not look like. This workshop will help you learn how to honor your parents if your faith is colliding with their expectations, their worship, or their sin.

Saturday Afternoon Workshops

  • Let’s Talk about Sex: The Picture, Pleasure and Power that God Made Sex to Be
    Maria Noyes

How did God design sex and why did He design it that way? Come join us as we explore how God’s design for sex is wiser, more beautiful, and more meaningful than what you might first think.

  • Fear of Failure: Where Our Shame Meets God’s Mercy
    Carolyn Falcone

“I am a failure... I fear rejection... I’ll never be good enough.” We live in fear of being defined by our failures, but Psalm 25 shows us how we can take refuge in the Lord and find healing in the midst of our shame.

  • Wisdom in Loving Difficult People in Difficult Situations
    Lily Christman & Shannon Fodale

Some people are easy to get along with, but some people are straight up annoying and difficult. Join us to get practical in how God’s love for us transforms the way we interact with difficult people in difficult situations.

  • Enduring by Faith When Trusting God is Hard
    Maggie Enestvedt

When life is going well, trusting God often feels easy. But when life gets hard, the future seems unknown, or God feels silent, how do we trust Him then? With so much of life beyond our control, Habakkuk shows us what growing in trusting God looks like.
